It is that time of the week were you get to name five things that have made you happy.
Did you eat a donut? had an amazing cup of coffee? got a new pair of running shoes? got all green lights on your way home?
IT ALL COUNTS.
Here are my five things for this week:
1. Bananas!
For some strange reason there has been a shortage in El Salvador! I go to the supermarket and boom...NO BANANAS!
And I love me some bananas! they are so easy to eat and non messy at all. No need to slice, cut, wash them. Just eat them.
On tuesday I went to the supermarket and found a pile of this yellow treasure and I bought -no joke- around 20 bananas! You see Heinz likes them too.
I am eating two bananas a day and that makes me very happy.
2. Avocados
To keep the list nature-related I am definitely including avocado. That green thing is good with everything! is the little black dress of food. I love that I live in a country where avocados are not imported which means they are affordable.
Affordable avocados equals a happy Ruth.
3. Broccoli
Yeah...I like green stuff. I am happy I don't have to force myself into eating greens. I really -honestly- like them.
4. Rain
We are getting a few late night rains here and it's lovely. The cool breeze is exactly what you need after the extreme hot weather we have during the day.
5. Muscle soreness.
Yes, it can be annoying BUT being sore can only mean that my workouts are actually working! I like to feel the burn.
See that was not hard or long.
