I've mentioned before that I don't buy salad dressings. I like to make my own and hopefully after this recipe you can start making your own too.
This can work as a salad dressing and even as a dip. I brought some to a get-together with my friends and it was a huge success.
- 1 cucumber
- 1 low fat yogurt (150g)
- salt and pepper
I used a grater for the cucumber and drained it a little bit because cucumbers tend to have a lot of liquid in them. I mixed it with the yogurt, salt and pepper and it was ready.
You can add more yogurt if you'd like or even use a food processor -mine is broken plus I like thick textures-.
You would think it's tasteless but actually it's not! give it a try!
I still have more in the fridge and I am thinking of using it as a sandwich spread...I am hungry!!!!
