I fixed myself this lovely salad yesterday. It looked so good that Heinz just "had to have some"...a Heinz-approved salad? I am capable of anything!
I used steamed broccoli, avocado, fresh mozzarella, hard boiled eggs and avocado. I placed it on some lettuce and called it lunch. Oh yes and I drizzled a little bit of my Dijon dressing on top (Dijon mustard, vinegar and olive oil).
Remember I told you in my last post that I went to a yoga class. Well it seems that the new strength training routine is doing wonders in the running front but exactly the opposite in the flexibility area.
I was stiff from start to finish. I thought I would warm up progressively but no, the class just kept getting harder. This makes me think of something that has always been in the back of my head -strength vs flexibility in yoga-
I think I may have to dig into it now that I see I've gained strength but lost the ability to touch my toes (I'm being a bit dramatic). I did manage to finally perform a side crow pose but I was unable to extend my legs.
