This will be our last destination for the trip. We are spending a little bit less than a month splitting our time between Ubud, the Gillis and Seminyak.
Coming here has been a long time dream for both Heinz and I and when I arrived yesterday I couldn't help but feel...complete.
I know people say that it really doesn't matter where you are, happiness is in you. I don't know if I fully believe that. Maybe to some extent, yes. But why is it that I travel then? Am I not looking for a missing piece? What about pilgrimages? Spiritual pilgrimage specially, where people travel to a specific holy place.
There is magic in certain places. I can't help to believe this is true. There is something mystic and holy about Bali and I've only been here for a day.
Heinz just came up to me and said: I felt alive....just now, I felt alive.
It's strange, it's new and it's overwhelming in the most fantastic sort of way.
